Sound Re-Recording Mixer"Perhaps the greatest challenges for me are “self belief” (not the same as “self confidence”) and risk tolerance. To believe in yourself is not the same as having confidence. I have confidence in my abilities as an audio engineer, but if I had truly followed my passion and “believed in myself” I would be in Los Angeles making music! I chose instead to play it safe and find steady employment, regular hours, and a reasonable sleeping schedule. Having said that, I think the next hurdle is to work with other women and minorities to continue breaking down barriers to “even the playing field” for everyone."
