Moving the needle by financing the work

As a certified Social Enterprise, we are committed to putting at least 51% profits back into our members.
Yes, we are creating a new economy, where the more that is paid in means the more that is paid forward to finance our members' projects.

Uniting Funding, In-Kind Support And Star Power

We identified three of the main barriers facing underrepresented filmmakers getting their work off the ground: access to finance, support and attaching names which pull in an audience.

And then decided to change that.

In inaugural £40k short film funding brought together partners Funding Futures, HAWK London delivering £15k worth of camera equipment, Grand Central offering £15k worth of Post Production services and the ability to cast Jodie Whittaker in their project.

The winning film, Truckload by Aella Jordan-Edge, had its world premiere at Tribeca and UK premiere at EIFF.

Creation Of A Rolling Fund

Paid members have access to our rolling fund of £1k towards production costs. Scope, directed by Emma Moffat, stars Antonia Thomas and Samantha Spiro and is currently on the festival circuit.
