The Cruel Cut (2013) Director | Producer
Groundbreaking campaigning documentary investigating female genital mutilation in the UK presented by anti-FGM activist and survivor, Leyla Hussein. We set up a UK-wide campaign, raising awareness, challenging practicing communities in the UK, and petitioning the Government to do more to help those at risk. A counterintuitive stunt we filmed, where Leyla got people to sign a petition in support of female circumcision, made the international press. Over 100,000 signed our e-petition on the Government website, prompting a major inquiry by the Home Affairs Select Committee, the most high-profile investigation into FGM ever mounted in the UK. “A very brave, searching and necessary piece of television” - Daily Express. “It is a lastingly powerful piece of work” - The Guardian. “Important ... powerful” - Radio Times. “Unflinching” - The Independent.

Jamie's Sugar Rush (2015) Director | Producer
Pioneering specialist factual campaigning documentary fronted by Jamie Oliver examining current levels of sugar consumption and investigating its harmful effects on health. We petitioned the Government to tax sugary drinks and ring fence the money for preventative strategies. Our petition and campaign mobilised immense support from both the public and the medical and scientific community. The debate on the tax and other recommended measures took place in Parliament in November and the Chancellor announced a sugary drinks tax in the 2016 budget as a direct result of the film. “The Intervention could not be more timely.” - The Telegraph. “Just what the doctor, the dentist, the public health professional and the global food expert ordered.” - The Guardian

Growing Up Gay (2017) Director | Producer
In this eye-opening and timely film, young pop culture icon Olly Alexander explores why the gay community is more vulnerable to mental health issues, as he opens up about his own long-term battle with depression. Olly joins young people on their journeys battling issues that parallel his own – from homophobic bullying to eating and anxiety disorders – and asks what can be done to address them. “Everyone, LGBT or not, should watch… Essential viewing.” - Radio Times. “Eye opening.” – The Telegraph. “Excellent… Despite the serious issues tackled, this is ultimately a hope-filled film” – The Observer. “Everyone should see this - The Sun.
