After the Flood: the Church, Slavery & Reconciliation, unearths the ideas that propped-up the Transatlantic Slave Trade, for hundreds of years, and how we might undo their impact. The film was commissioned by UK Charity, The Movement for Justice and Reconciliation (MJR). The film reveals the lesser-known story of how the 18th-century Church came to justify the enslavement of Africans, its legacies and what it means for reconciliation today.
