Working closely with high quality industry equipment every day to ensure the standard of kit sent out is as high as it can be. Roles and responsibilities included setting up and preparing camera equipment so that it was ready to go out for filming, as well as testing, cleaning and maintaining camera accessories and attachments to ensure they were suitable to be sent out.

Responsibilities included, checking camera kits for the students are ready for filming and dividing them up between all the classes appropriately, also to check in thorough detail when equipment is brought back that it hasn't been damaged in anyway and when it has to record and file damages made.

During my time at Take 2 Films I helped the camera assistants and technicians in checking in equipment, sometimes very expensive and delicate cameras which needed to be handled and assessed with care. I was able to practice loading with 16mm and 35mm film cameras and gain a deeper understanding of the film process. I also had the responsibility of organising the AC consumables area and making sure all kits had everything they needed ready for hire.

During my time here I was trained in loading and unloading film stock with 35mm Panavision cameras as well as being able to assist the warehouse technicians in their daily tasks of checking in and out heavy duty equipment safely.
