MISADVENTURE; TV SERIES IN DEVELOPMENT WITH HEYDAY TV (2023) Screenwriter
In January 2023 Leanne went into development with Heyday TV as writer/creator of her original TV series idea, Misadventure, first written during her time on the 2020 BBC Drama Writers Scheme (now known as 'Pilot'). The following year Misadventure made the 2021 Brit List.

BUT FIRST, TEA; NEXT SHORT FILM IN DEVELOPMENT WITH NORTHERN STUDIOS (2024) Writer / Director
As well as winning Best in Festival at the TVIFF in Nov 2023, I was also awarded their scholarship to make my next film at the Northern Studios with the support of actors Robson Green and Mark Benton. ‘But First, Tea,’ centres around domestic violence and coercive control using my distinctive style of approaching dark subjects with humour and light.
