7 year old Nirmala attempts to grapple with the demons of her grandfather's dementia when he forgets the details of her favorite story. Nirmala confidently takes up her grandfather's role of storyteller, by putting on his glasses, in the hope that by telling the story correctly, she can get rid of the demons that riddle her grandfather's version. Based on a myth about how the coconut got its face from Southern India, this film delves into different landscapes of their two unique imaginations, exploring how age and time can change human experience and morph familiar stories, lives and even relationships.
