    Why are we resorting back to Dada? Is it an answer to the new world war? Da Da Dark is a stream of consciousness interrogating a cy- cle of toxicity inflicted by the patriarchy and the way it affects womanhood in life and art. Characters are forced to compete with each other, being policed and controlled by the superior invincible power they are not aware of themselves. It is both a love letter & a sick note, loaded with fury for our nonsensical time that resists interpretation.

    Brutal is a psychological horror about a mother named MAYA, who absent-mindedly leaves her 8 week year old baby outside a grocery store. When she rushes back to retrieve the child, she discovers it’s been kidnapped. The film then plummets into the mother’s psyche as she’s forced to navigate a 15 story high tow- er block in order to save her child. What we begin to discover in this surreal and disturbing landscape is that the baby was a result of a rape, and Maya cannot save herself from the trauma of such a horrific event and therefore cannot save the baby.

She lives on a struggling tomato farm with her mother and sister, who are made outcasts due to their progressive views and fertile soils . Tilda’s only form of escape is an unbreakable bond she’s made with a little magpie. Despite countless warning of the bird’s inherent bad omen, Tilda cannot bring herself to severe the friendship which brings about the death and destruction of her family and her farm.
