Casualty - 24 X Episodes (2019) Director of Photography

50 minute Drama series. Each episode is a 10 day total shoot, plus days for recce prep,, and 1 day for grading. 7 days of the shoot days are based in around the very large hospital set. Then 3 days shot on interior and exterior locations, which normally include complicated stunts and crashes filmed in some challenging locations, extra grip and lighting often ordered in. DOP works closely with director with ideas and planning before the shoot and during. Total crew of 50, DOP team comprises normally of 6 electricians, 5 total on camera team (if single camera shoot, then additional crew when multi camera needed) Lighting for each scene is done on the day, nothing is pre-lit other than for some locations. The show is shot on the Arri Alexa, additional cameras are brought in where needed including Steadicam.

!0 minute short shot on Sony FS7. Short films as showcases for last year 4th year drama students for them to help them move in acting world once they have left the Bristol Old Vic School. The DOP and Director are brought in from the professional working world. The Film degree students are also taken in under our wings to help make the films.

Dumping Ground -4 X 'Special' Episodes (2019) Camera Operator | Director of Photography

Children's 30 minute drama filmed outside Newcastle. Involves working with a lot of young people of different ages and also some with disabilities. DOP self operates, and on these episodes they were filmed on the Arri Amira due to a lot of handheld and Easyrig being required (other episodes shot on the Alexa). It is a single camera shoot. These episodes were shot mainly at different interior and exterior locations but also at the main setting of the studio being the "children's home'. All scenes in the ‘home’ are lit from scratch, nothing is pre-lit.
