Women Uprooted documents the resettlement journey of a woman asylum-seeker searching for a home. Dispatched from London to Plymouth, her story exposes the emotional realities of a life on standby, caught between the uncertainty of earning refugee status, and the disorienting experience of setting roots in a new country. Combining abstract visuals with first-person narration, Women Uprooted immerses the viewer into what is an intimate and personal account of a much larger global social crisis.
