Remedy (2015) Director | Editor | Screenwriter
REMEDY follows a young woman from the underground kink clubs of New York City into the world of commodified BDSM where workers are paid to embody the sexual and psychological fantasies of complete strangers. What began as a MFA Thesis project became my first feature film, a SAG Feature with worldwide digital and European theatrical distribution. A hybrid of creative biography and narrative fiction, REMEDY is based on true accounts of a pro-switch working in a commercial dungeon in New York City. The film explores the good, the bad, the offensive, the cruel, the hysterical, and the plain weird aspects of BDSM-for-hire. It provides insight without passing judgment, but only as fast as Remedy herself gets the information, and no faster.

Street Beatz with Monét X Change (2016) Director | Director of Photography | Editor
It began with a tagline: "Watch me paint and get into full Drag in the middle of Times Square. Yes, FULL Drag!" The result was four episodes of real NYC magic. We started this series before Monét was on Drag Race. Obviously by the fourth episode, she was a household name.

Uranium Derby (2017) Editor | Script Consultant
Director Britt Prater discovers her hometown was secretly involved in the Manhattan Project. Her investigation into this history triggers a chain reaction of encounters through which it becomes clear that the topic of nuclear waste has been more successfully buried than the waste itself. I was brought in by Britt as a story consultant and finishing editor (in Avid, no less, which at the time was my distant fifth editing language) when she felt too close to the material. This is probably my favorite kind of work, helping other filmmakers make the best version of *their* work. I'm currently working with Britt again, story consulting on her upcoming film about the Iowa Caucus ALL EYES ON IOWA.
