“Sierra Leone is the country I hate to love.” The Cowfoot Prince follows Usifu Jalloh, a Sierra Leonean Storyteller, from his adopted home in London back to the village where he was born. The journey charts his complex relationship with the country that is responsible both for the execution of his father, and for the inherited skills and wisdom he uses to make sense of the world. He shares his remarkable heritage, inspiring and awakening hope in a younger generation.

The Government of Sierra Leone have instructed a community living on a remote island that they must leave their homes; most of the islands' residents have moved their homes across the island at least once now; but why have they been told to leave, and what is it that makes them so sure they want to stay? Currently in post production, Bex's first multi faceted, multi media project has the working title, The World that was the Island that was the World. It has taken place over ten years in Sierra Leone, West Africa, and includes a podcast, series' of photographs, and a documentary feature film.
